      Hi There and welcome to Pouladuff Road Dog Grooming. My Name is Declan and all my life I had a passion for dogs. In 2012 I adopted a little collie cross puppy who I called Einstein. And from very early on when I first got Einstein I knew I wanted to work with dogs.  Before setting up Pouladuff Road Dog Grooming I worked in the hospitality industry for six years. After working in the hospitality industry I moved into retail before putting my real passion into action and studying Holistic Dog Grooming, Canine Nutrition, Canine First Aid & Canine Massage. During my studies I worked in a well known grooming salon in Cork and I found Working with dogs to be a job that I found so rewarding that I decided to start up my own Holistic Dog Grooming Salon here in Cork City. And so Pouladuff Road Dog Grooming was born.

      Here at Pouladuff Road Dog Grooming I do my best to make it a fun and calm experience for everyone involved. Making your dog enjoy themselves during the grooming process is something I find is very important as one bad experience can make the grooming process a scary and unpleasant one for your dog.

 

       Pouladuff Road Dog Grooming is a calm and controlled environment. We also know that time is of value for the busy working mom & dad so I try and work around times that suit you. If you cannot make it during our regular times I am happy to try and work around your schedule.  We offer selected Weekend & Evening slots outside our regular times. Just give a call and we can work around you. 

 

     As an added service at no extra charge I offer a consultation after your dogs groom. With this consultation I  show you the best way to brush your dog and how to hold them during brushing so they don't run away. I explain the need for brushing and the benefits.
